Your payments are public: what that means
Base is a public ledger. Here is exactly who can see what.
What anyone can see
Every payment is a public transaction on Base: the paying wallet, the creator's payout wallet, the amount and the time. Anyone can look them up, forever.
Wallets are not names. But if a wallet is ever linked to you, its whole history is.
Your exchange can connect the dots
If you buy USDC on an exchange that knows your name and withdraw it to your OnlyTokens wallet, the exchange knows that wallet is yours. The next hop, a payment to our public payment contract, is visible to it too.
Your bank statement shows the exchange, never us. But the exchange's own records can link you to your purchases.
What we store
No IP addresses. No email unless you add a recovery email, and then only a keyed fingerprint of it. Transaction hashes are deleted after 30 days. We never store your swaps.
